What Does the New Testament Teach about the Sabbath?

There is a surprising silence regarding Sabbath commands for believers after the resurrection of Jesus. Never once in all of Paul's letters or the general epistles are Christians commanded to keep the Sabbath. Instead we find something quite different in the New Covenant era.
