Because of Christ's work as our Savior, we have God as our Father. We are blessed by our Father's loving discipline.
I. Our Father disciplines us
- The Old Testament reveals this
- The New Testament reveals this

II. Our Father disciplines uses two forms of discipline with us.
- Instructive discipline
_ Corrective discipline

III. Our Father disciplines because he loves us
- To correct and protect
- To make us be partakers of His holiness
- To cause us to bear fruit for His Glory
