In this podcast Barbara Metsemakers (Heffernan) , in conversation with Lisa Rickert, recalls her job as a receptionist at The Seasons Hotel. She then tells the story of her Dad's arrival in Newman and how "Dutchy" had a few different experiences before settling in Newman and meeting her Mum. Barbara also speaks very fondly of her "Uncles" - her Dad friends who became part of her family. She especially remembers Jim Dempsey and the Newman Club.
