Mental Health Care in Iowa - Crisis for Business

Early in December there was a political forum which featured twelve of the thirteen people running for governor of Iowa. The event sponsored by the Des Moines Register, Des Moines University and the Iowa Hospital Association drew over 700 people to hear about the delivery of mental health care in Iowa. The conversation, which we live Tweeted, was stunning. Following the event we asked Peggy Huppert from NAMI-Iowa to come in and discuss where Iowa is at when it comes to mental health care, how our care delivery impacts families and business.
