CHRISTINA MAKRIS - Author and Philosopher

Christina Makris is a writer, lecturer and consultant who specialises in the relationship between hospitality and culture. She is the author of the book Aesthetic Dining: The Art Restaurant Around the World, the first book of its kind to identify and describe the tradition of the art restaurant, and recently completed her second book, The Art Vineyard, which explores the relationship between wine and art. Christina is deeply involved in the arts as a collector, philanthropist, patron, and investment advisor. Her work is grounded in philosophy and culture.
