About Joy:
As a financial advisor at Edward Jones, a Fortune 500 financial services firm, my goal is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of my clients by helping them financially achieve their most important goals. I meet my clients at my office, their homes or wherever else it might be convenient. I am passionate about helping clients create personalized strategies and stay on track to help protect the wealth they have worked so hard to build.
I grew up in Texas and after attending college, started my career in the banking and investments industry in 1995. In 2007, my husband and I relocated to Lubbock, TX, while he pursued his PhD in ethnomusicology at Texas Tech. And it was in Lubbock that I joined Edward Jones as a branch office administrator and found a company that matched my passion for helping people.
In 2016, my husband, Dr. Ian Rollins, and I relocated to Denver, CO, where we adopted our two children: Jeremiah and Simone. Two years later, I achieved my long-term goal of becoming a financial advisor at the firm I loved so dearly: Edward Jones.
Since 2007, I have helped Edward Jones grow by recruiting financial advisors, and have served my regions as a branch office administrator mentor and coordinator, newsletter editor and on-call coordinator. In 2018, I became a limited partner with the firm.
I am passionate about volunteering at Edward Jones and within our community. I serve as a board member on the Five Star Education Foundation. I have volunteered at the 2015 Tour de Ted, the 2015 Special Olympics and have been a foster parent since 2013. I am an avid reader and love to play piano, explore and travel. I am deeply grateful for a career that allows me to give back to the community.
