To the anti-Semitism of Hitler, Dietrich Bonhoeffer said “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.” Come, let’s reason together (Isaiah 1:18) and remember Jesus’ warning: we should be careful how we listen (Luke 8:18).
