REVELATION (PART 21) - THE WHORE OF BABYLON

In Revelation 17 John sees a vision of a whore riding the monstrous beast that came up out of the sea. She was once faithful to the LORD but has prostituted herself with the nations of the world. She is drunk on the blood of the saints. She is a parody of the high priest and temple. She is 'Mystery Babylon', Jerusalem before her utter destruction in AD 70. We will learn about the redemptive-historical significance of this great whore as well as how the ways of this whore still misleads people even today.
