Student Stories - Northwest Vista College

Happy Hour - Students from Marisela Barrera's writing class at Northwest Vista College in San Antonio shared their personal stories with us.

Marisela Barrera is a Tejana writer and teatrista with a BFA in Acting from Southern Methodist University, and MA/MFA degrees in Creative Writing, Literature and Social Justice from Our Lady of the Lake University. She is part of the teaching faculty in the English and Reading Department at NW Vista College. 

Happy Hour is Empower House Radio's series where we look at the lighter side of life, share stories and poems, speak to musicians, artists and historians and cover topics and conversations that are interesting, weird and entertaining.
