The First Sunday in Lent, Year B (February 18, 2018)

The First Sunday in Lent is here -- a bit earlier than some of us may have expected! Maybe that's the way the movement of God always happens? Anyhow, here's some discussion of Jesus' journey into the wilderness and what that means for us as we prepare to follow him. Special musical guests include the original cast of Jesus Christ Superstar, with the character of Judas Iscariot offering a bit of his own personal Lenten thought process in the song, Heaven on Their Minds.
