Sinn Fein MEP, Matt Carthy’s welcomed European Parliament backing for the continued access to cohesion funds for the North post-Brexit.
The Midlands North-West representative says it is recognition of the special status of the North once the UK leaves the European Union.
The report also calls for young people in Northern Ireland to have continued access to Erasmus+ programmes to allow students study abroad after Brexit.
