Vesak Celebration: Honoring the birth of the Buddha

FCM warmly invites all to join us on the special day of celebrating the traditional Buddhist holiday of Vesak honoring the birth of the Buddha on Sunday, May 19 during Sunday meditation at the Tampa Practice Center.

Our teacher Fred will offer teachings on the life of Shakyamuni Buddha, the significance for humankind of the Buddha’s birth, and what it truly means to be a Buddha. 

The traditional practice of bathing the Baby Buddha will be held in the meditation hall.
