Mid-Session 21 Jan 22: ASX 200 sinks to seven-week low

The Australian sharemarket is sliding by 1.6% at midday, falling for a third time in four days and sinking to a seven-week low. All sectors are losing ground following US market weakness and rising interest rate jitters.
