At the height of the lucrative 18th century slave trade, a routine voyage from the west coast of Africa to the plantations of Jamaica ends with a suspect insurance claim concerning the human cargo and uncovers the true scandalous story of a disastrous journey.

Vintage Scandals focuses mainly on 19th and 20th century scandals that were of national, and sometimes international interest.
