In today’s Gospel (Luke 4), we see Jesus enter the desert for 40 days of fasting. As Catholics, we follow in His footsteps because that’s what He did. Our faith is deeply rooted in the life of Christ, from Lent to baptism, to prayer, and beyond.

If your Lenten journey hasn’t started the way you hoped, don’t be discouraged. Today can be day one. Jesus calls us not to be perfect, but to keep trying, to recommit, and to follow Him wholeheartedly.
