If Faith is what pleases God (Hebrews 11:6) then how do we know we are “In The Faith”? We know this by knowing we ARE joined with Him in Spirit (see Eph 1:13, 1Cor 6:17). Take the self examination found in 2Cor 13:5 and rest easy, it’s an open Book test!
