In 2012, with his book Missing 411 "Eastern United States: Unexplained Disappearances of North Americans That Have Never Been Solved" David Paulides launched an entire new subject in the field of the paranormal known as Missing 411.  This phenomena is the mysterious circumstances of several people disappearing within the national park systems. Ten books and two documentaries later David Paulides has cataloged hundreds of mysterious disappearances and cataloged commonalities between these situations.
