Episode # 936 - TGIF And The Pastoral Challenges Of The Family

TGIF today loyal listeners and with July coming up just after this weekend and the 4th of July coming up as well too.  However, since it's coming up fast, Father Anthony says that soon before we know it, kids will be back in school, as well as leading to other things coming up fast.  Everyone is looking forward to a great weekend and Friday today too and even though Tony is a bit tardy today, it feels great, with Producer Nick saying that he is getting back to doing his stair work out he does at St Stans, leading to talk about going fast still and working out.  Today is also the Feast of the Sacred Heart, leading Father Anthony briefly talking about that, however he turns toward a more serious subject bringing up something that will be happening within a year, the Pastoral Challenges of the Family in the Context of Evangelization, raising things and issues that have been brought up on previous shows.  After the first break, Tony arrives, however traffic seems to once again causing trouble on the way to the show, only to continue this discussion, raising the topic of sin and how it can damage a person and what it can do, with positive things said to help.  Mentioned today along these lines is an interview with Eric Scheidler of the ProLife Action League talking about abortion and being ProLife, since the Supreme Court has hit down hard on Massachusetts' Abortion Clinic Buffer Zone.
