Episode 149: The Church Where the People Rule

Continuing through our look at the seven churches written to in the book of Revelation, we come to the seventh church, Laodicea. Laodicea, the church that has two almost infamous charges leveled against it by Jesus, Himself - That they are neither hot nor cold, and that Jesus is outside the church, knocking on the door, desiring to come in. Laodicea was apparently a comfortable church. They seemed to have no issues, they weren't necessarily doing the wrong things, but they weren't doing the right things to the best of their ability, and most importantly, they were at a point where they placed more reliance on themselves, and much less on Jesus. 

Join Pastor Jason as he once again shows how the church today can, and for some, does emulate the churches written to in Revelation, specifically Laodicea, how this can happen to a church, and what we need to be on guard for.
