Buckman Billygoats vs Nisswa Lightning Region 8C Championship 2023

The Billygoats won the Region 8C Championship with a 5-3 win over the Lightning to clinch a 1st round bye at State.   Buckman scored 4 times in the 1st on rbi singles from Jack Suska and Noah Boser and a 2-run double by Matt Kummet.  Lane Girtz added a 2nd inning rbi double for the Goats. Nisswa got 2 back in the 5th on rbi singles from Aaron Jenkins and Sam Peterson and Drew Boland added an rbi double in the 8th for Nisswa. Preston Rocheleau got the Win with Matt Tautges earning the Save.
