Within the last several years, various AI programs have become advanced enough to write chord changes, melodies, and lyrics. As the AI improves, what does this mean for the future of music and the humans that create it? Will this simply become another tool in the songwriter’s arsenal? Or is this just one ste closer to Skynet becoming self-aware?
