The Ink and Paint Folk Podcast
TV & Film
Welcome to the Ink and Paint Folk podcast- a look at animation through the women and non-binary folk who make it!
Hosted by Cassie Soliday
This is part 2 of my interview with writer, Mia Resella!
From studying at UC Santa Barbara to getting their MFA at UCLA, Mia went on to write for studios such as Nickelodeon, Disney, Wild Canary, Dreamworks, Bad Robot, and more! They also participated in the Nickelodeon Writing Program! We discuss why getting to know yourself is super important in the creative process as well as why we should note our personal privileges when thinking about how to pay it forward to others. They also believe we should not only mentor new voices, but follow through in promoting them!
