Outside The Chute sits down and talks to Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia native, former East Hants Mastodon and current Assistant Coach of the Cape Breton Eagles of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Matt Anthony. We're going to talk to Matt about being pretty much born into the game, with his father Terry and Grandfather Carl, being prominent softball figures not only in the local community but also in the province of Nova Scotia, growing up in the East Hants Minor Ball system, and playing at the men's level.

We'll talk about transitioning to the coaching side of the game where Ants was able to help the East Hants Expo's win a silver medal at the 2011 Canadian Midget Nationals in Fredericton, NB and then the experience of coaching at the 2017 Canada Games in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Ants will also give us a detailed description of his first season coaching in the QMJHL with the Cape Breton Eagles, how things could have went and what the future holds for the team.
