Economic Insights 19 Nov 18: Australian home size hits 22-year low

The average new home (houses and apartments) is now 186.3 square metres, down 1.6 per cent over the past year and the smallest since 1996. Victorians are building the biggest houses in Australia, ahead of the ACT, WA & QLD.
