In this episode, we discuss the Self sphere and the physical component. The Self/Physical quadrant is one of my more requested episodes and a perfect way to begin our year/decade end/beginning series.
You are in charge of your body. You stepped into sobriety looking to radically change your life - for whatever reason - and as the year ends one of the most popular resolutions is to get in better shape, lose weight, and/or eat healthily.
Everyone has something about themselves they aren't happy with or thrilled about when they look in the mirror. Getting in better shape and/or eating a more healthy diet are not these gigantic Big, Hairy, Audacious goals so many books and magazines convince you they are.
They can't sell books and magazines if they don't get you believing you can't achieve your desires without them.
Here's my simple flow to get up and on the go toward a healthier you.
Set SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely.
These Four Forces drive you toward achievement: Fear, Frustrations, Wants, and Aspirations.
