Morning Report 27 Sep 21: ASX set for a flat start as investors keep a wary eye on Chinese developments

US sharemarkets ended mixed on Friday as Investors monitored developments at troubled Chinese property giant Evergrande. Shares of cryptocurrency-related firms fell after China's central bank put a ban on crypto trading and mining. The Dow Jones index rose by 33 points or 0.1%. The S&P 500 index gained 0.2%. But the Nasdaq index lost 4.5 points or less than 0.1%. Over the week, the Dow rose 0.6%; S&P 500 rose 0.5%; and the Nasdaq rose by 0.02%
