US Close 1 March 19 : US stocks lower despite better growth numbers

US sharemarkets were weaker on Thursday. The US-North Korea talks ended without agreement. And there were no concrete detail on the progress of US-China trade talks. But economic growth data met expectations. At the close of trade, the Dow Jones index was down by 70 points or 0.3%. The S&P500 index lost 0.3%. And the Nasdaq index was lower by 22 points or 0.3%.
