Awakened Hearts: #Blessed

There is confusion in our culture as to the meaning of "blessed." We tend to connect it with material possessions and unique experiences while the Bible frames blessing as a peaceful and joyous life despite our situation. Haggai's third message to Israel reminds us that God blesses obedience and He uses discipline to call us back from our sin. Dave Schneider considers the blessing that comes from a simple devotion to God.
