The Young and the Restless sees Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) goes against the advice of Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and brings Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) onboard his new business venture. Despite Billy's insistence of burying the hatchet with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), his past actions hint otherwise. Phyllis, too, has a history of harboring grudges, with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and Christine Cricket Blair (Lauralee Bell) frequent targets. Now, with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) on her radar, Phyllis' volatile nature is set to clash with Billy's on the CBS soap opera.

Young and Restless sees this new business partnership not only threatens Billy's relationship with Sally but also brings to focus their tumultuous romantic past. With Phyllis' recent romantic dry spell and Billy's notorious infidelity, Sally could be heading for heartbreak. Moreover, Billy and Phyllis' potential joint media smear campaigns against the Newmans and Sharon might further strain their relationships.
