Alister McGrath would be good. He brings in Alex Rosenberg, Ira Murdoch, Richard Rorty and others in the quest for objective morality. We have a sense of a moral standard we try to reform laws towards but where is it? CS Lewis has the Tao in the Abolition of Man.
