In this episode, Bushra Amiwala talks about running for School Board in Skokie, Illinois and winning...while still in college. In so doing, Bushra became the youngest elected Muslim in the United States, which also gave her national attention that she did not expect. Now she's talking about what motivated her to run, focusing on issues, and how she motivated other young people to pay attention to a school board race.
