John Updike? On a baseball history podcast? Updike was a huge baseball fan and though he didn’t get to write alot about his favorite sport, what little he did is incredible. On a completely separate vain, we talk about the Curse of the Billy Goat. How expelling a barnyard animal from Wrigley Field in 1945 cursed the Cubs all the way up to 2016.
