Villains, from mid-level baddies to your big bad, the rules of introduction are pretty much the same.  You’ve spent a lot of time working on your antagonists, you’ve got to give them a proper introduction.

• MAKE THEIR INTRODUCTION BIG.

• THEIR MOTIVATION SHOULD BE VERY CLEAR.

• MAKE THEM LIKABLE.
•  
• THEY SHOULD BE MORE THAN JUST EVIL, ONE DIMENSIONAL VILLAIN ARE BORING.
•  
• LET YOUR PLAYERS KNOW THEY ARE A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH RIGHT FROM THE JUMP.
