Bible Study - Elijah and Elisha (14) - Then The Fire of The Lord Fell

8/25/21 - As Elijah is praying on the Mount, God answers mightily by fire. The sacrifice, wood, stones, dust and water are all consumed by the fire of God from heaven. Once the contest has concluded, the people declare the Lord to be God.

During times of great darkness, deception, and wickedness God called and equipped two great prophets to service. By the power of God they wrought great miracles, including the first resurrections found in the Bible. They challenged the prophets of Baal, and boldly withstood the wicked kings and leaders of Israel. We pray the Lord will strengthen and encourage our hearts through the study of their lives.
