Grief or Relief? Receiving the Holy Spirit - Ephesians: Grace in Christ

When you prepare to receive a visitor, you put some things off and some things on, some things away and some things out, depending on the guest. What if your guest is God the Holy Spirit come to make His home in you? That's what we're enabled and instructed to do in Christ: receive the Holy Spirit. He is the Helper, sent to prepare us to receive the promised inheritance of salvation! So how will you receive the Spirit? Will your reception bring grief, or relief?
