June 30, 2024 - Having Steadfast Faith in Christ

“[Jesus] said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has saved you. Go in peace and be cured of your affliction’” (Mark 5:34). Two persons needed healing from the Lord. A twelve year-old girl and a woman who had suffered from hemorrhages for twelve years. This homily focuses on the actions of the woman. She perseveres in her faith by practicing it and professing it.
