UK-EU assembly can solve NI democratic deficit - Andrews

Northern Ireland politicians must have a chance to scrutinise EU law applicable in the province – that’s the demand from Barry Andrews. The Dublin MEP is part of the UK-EU parliamentary assembly which is still being set up. At the first meeting for the EU delegation, Barry Andrews called for a special unit to deal with issues involving Northern Ireland. He says a way must be found to resolve concerns about a Brexit democratic deficit in the north.
