Today’s homily: Friday in the Ascension Octave (2025)

Christ’s Ascension is not His absence, but the beginning of a hidden, glorified presence. The Apostles are told to wait—not act—until filled with the Holy Ghost. We too must learn to pray, trust, and prepare. Christ reigns now from Heaven, present in His Church, sacraments, and mission. This Ascensiontide is our time to seek Him in spirit, desire the Spirit’s fire, and live by faith as we await His return in glory.
