Outside The Chute sat down and chatted with Northwestern University Alum, Athletes Unlimited star and 2020 Olympian with Team Italy, Andrea Filler.

Andrea has had a fantastic career to date. She earned NFCA All-Region Team distinction three times, while also being a two-time First-Team All-Big Ten Conference selection while at Northwestern. She would capture an NPF Championship with the Chicago Bandits in 2016 and then move on to play professionally in Italy where she won the 2021 Italian Pro League batting title after leading the league with a .517 batting average and eight home runs. Andrea would also represent Italy at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo and currently plays with Athletes Unlimited.
