Budget 2018: Toscafund’s chief economist reveals his property wish list

Savvas Savouri does not have high hopes for this year's Budget given that, in his view, "few chancellors have understood economics" in his lifetime. But Toscafund's chief economist argues that Philip Hammond has the chance this year to set the scene for future budgets and that this one could either mean "paralysis" for the property sector or "promise" if he delivers measures such as the long awaited Amazon tax.
