010 The Learning Curve

We all have to start somewhere and for most of us, that somewhere is the beginning. Duh! I'm joined today by my long time friend Iskah Avaya to discuss the highs and lows of the spiritual path and in particular, some of the mistakes that are made when we first awaken to a greater sense of awareness. Are you someone who felt like you needed to enlighten ALL your friends and family to the awakened perspective that you so very recently grasped? Have you ever highlighted someone's indulgences and shortcomings while so conveniently ignoring your own? We've all been there. In this episode we discuss "spiritual bypassing" and also take some digs at the weird beliefs of the new age community. We also discuss masculine and feminine dynamics and where we think today's social trends will bring us.
