The Walk to Execution

Luke 23:26-28

I'm not quite sure how long the walk was from the Judgment Hall to Golgotha, but it was certainly a memorable one for anyone that watched and listened that day. Ironically, Jesus refused to receive the sympathy of those who bemoaned his plight; instead he warned them of a greater and more widespread persecution they themselves would endure.
