Morning Report 23 Sep 21: Wall St rallies as the Federal Reserve stays the course

US sharemarkets climbed on Wednesday as concerns eased over a default by China's Evergrande. Stocks remained higher after US Federal Reserve officials signalled that they would begin tapering their bond buying program "soon." The Dow Jones index rose by 338 points or 1%. The S&P 500 index also gained 1% and the Nasdaq index added 150 points or 1%.
