Morning Report 29 Sep 21: Stocks retreat as interest rates trend higher

US stocks were dealt with sternly by sellers overnight as long term interest rates continued to trend higher . The Dow Jones index fell by 569 points or 1.6% after earlier being down 615 points. The S&P 500 index lost 2.0%. And the Nasdaq index lost 423 points or 2.8%
