This summer has shown that Ireland’s energy is vulnerable, says Billy Kelleher. As Europe tries to move away from coal and oil, we have become more and more dependent on gas from Russia and a still fledgling renewables market. Fianna Fáil MEP, Billy Kelleher, says we need to have serious discussions about solving the weaknesses in our supply.
