S5E54- The Dentist films special (with The Schlock Pit’s Matty Budrewicz)

It's been a long-time coming on this cult film franchise and joining us tonight is The Schlock Pit blogger Matty Budrewicz! Inbetween small-screen gigs on L.A. Law and Psych, we witnessed Corbin Bernsen in the whacky horror comedy film series The Dentist! 

Would these had worked better as Tales from the Crypt episodes? Why are these films more popular in Britain than other countries? Is this producer Pierre David's best franchise compared to Wishmaster and Scanners saga? Why did this almost wreck the actor's personal life off-set? Are these films better enjoyed as a gorefest or as a dark comedy? How many saw these festival releases premiere on HBO versus renting them at the videostores back in the day? Is this still Corbin's best known role or is Major League just a bigger influence?
