Cuddles is a laid-back guy who’s happiest lounging by your side or following you from room to room like your tiny shadow. While we haven’t seen a particularly playful side of him yet, he’s incredibly loyal and just wants to be part of whatever you’re doing. He has excellent recall and always comes when called—he truly thrives when he’s with his humans.

We’re not sure of Cuddles’ full backstory, but he’s shown that he does best in a calm, respectful environment. He’s great with people who understand his need for space, but he’s not a good fit for homes with young children—he’s snapped in the past when overwhelmed. In his foster home, he gets along wonderfully with the family’s older kids (ages 11 and 14), and he even takes turns sleeping in their rooms at night.

House-trained and non-destructive, Cuddles has been a breeze indoors—no accidents, no chewing, just lots of love. He’s not a fan of his crate and will bark or try to escape. He does great in the car and on a leash. He also doesn't seem to mind cats and is friendly with other dogs.

Cuddles has a super soft coat and loves to be pet, but he’s not comfortable with grooming yet, so a patient, experienced groomer will be essential to help him stay comfortable and looking his best. He’ll need regular grooming.
