Vulnerability is the enemy of the narcissist.  It is something they attack.  There is no compassion!  There is no empathy!  Those who are sensitive and vulnerable are prey!  They become the scapegoat, the one to project their own unhealed wounds upon; the one to unleash their burdens onto and the one who gets banished into the wilderness.
