Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children

In May 2020, the CDC issued a national health advisory on a newly reported multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children. This syndrome presented with fever, shock, and signs of hyperinflammation, and temporally occurred 2-4 weeks following COVID-19 exposure.
