Setting Boundaries with Difficult People

Today on the podcast I’m talking about boundaries, specifically setting them with someone who you are tangled up within a messy, manipulative kind of way. I’m going to tell you how I learned to set boundaries with my alcoholic, verbally abusive mother, and I’ll start that off by reading you an excerpt from my new book The Complicated Heart: Loving Even When It Hurts, which you can pre-order now, and then I’m going to share a few practical tips on setting boundaries that you can begin to put in place right away.
